Hi my name is Renae and I am the Director of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre and have been in this role since May 2008.
I have had the pleasure of working in the early childhood field since 1995, I have worked with all age groups from 3 months to 6 years at every level; Assistant, Group Leader, 2IC and Director. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services.
The best part of my job is watching each child learn through play and reaching their milestones while in our care. I also have the privilege of making sure the centre provides a warm and stimulating environment for all children and families that attend the centre.

I have been a part of the team here at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since May 2015 and from October 2018 I became the Second In Charge and Educational Leader.
I hold my Diploma in Children’s Services and I have worked in the Early Childhood industry since 2013. I have worked with all age groups from 3 months to 6 years as an Assistant, Group Leader and now 2IC/Educational Leader.
I am very passionate about working and interacting with the educators and the children in our service to develop a supportive environment and an educational program that supports ongoing learning and development for all.
I enjoy trying different foods from various cultures, travelling and spending time with my loved ones.

Caterpillar Room Lead Educator – Sunshine
Hello my name is Sunshine. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since January 2022.
I am from South Korea and moved to Australia to study. I enjoy witnessing children’s growth and development while also being a part of their learning journey. As an educator I will provide the best care while supporting the children’s interests.
I love travelling and have travelled to more than 28 countries. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, bush walking, cooking and most recently I have taken a liking to drawing and painting.
I am honoured to be a part of the team of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre and I look forward to getting to know all the children and their families.
Caterpillar Room Co-Educator – Shirin
Hello, my name is Shirin. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since May 2022.
I have been working in the Early Childhood Industry since 2019. I have 2 daughters named Nicki and Hannah and I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is forming strong relationships and bonds with the children. I enjoy teaching children new things and watching the ‘twinkle’ in their eyes when they understand or learn something new and seeing how proud they look.
I look forward to getting to know all the families and children and being a part of the team at NKCC.

Bumble Bee Room Lead Educator – Ashleigh
Hello my name is Ashleigh and I hold my Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services.
I joined the team in August 2016 and have been within the field of early childhood since 2010.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends, going out for dinner or going to the movies. I like to try keeping myself healthy by eating well, going to the gym, playing netball and taking my dog Dixie for walks.

Hello my name is Lashana. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since February 2021.
I am from New Zealand and moved to Melbourne to seek out new opportunities in the Early Childhood industry. I have always wanted to work in early childhood ever since I was a little girl, so after finishing my student placement and Diploma I am very thankful that I was given the opportunity to become a part of the great team here at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre.
I look forward to getting to know all the families and being able to see all the children further develop and grow.

Hello my name is Helen. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since June 2022.
I was born in China and immigrated to Melbourne in 1996. I can speak fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin and a Chinese dialect from Teochew. In my spare time I really enjoy looking after my flowers and plants, each flower and plant is unique and has different characteristics.
Early Childhood Education has always been an interest and important field for me. I enjoy witnessing children’s growth and development whilst being a part of their learning journey.

Kindergarten Teacher – Molly
Hello my name is Molly. I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. I have been working in the Early Childhood Sector since 2017 and have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since October 2021.
I believe that working with young children has definitely brought out the best of me and made me become a better person. I love seeing the children enjoy what they are learning and grow to become caring, hardworking and independent individuals.
I am very excited to be a part of the team at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre and I look forward to meeting and getting to know all the families and children that attend this beautiful Centre.
Butterfly Room Lead Educator – Sarah
Hello my name is Sarah. I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. I have been in the Early Childhood Sector since 2013 and have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since June 2022.
Since I was a child myself I knew I wanted to be a teacher. My favourite part about being a teacher and working with children is being a part of a child’s light bulb moment. It is so special to see a child learn and acquire a new skill you helped them achieve.
I look forward to having these moments with every child that joins our beautiful kindergarten room.

Hi I’m Cecilia, I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and have been working in this sector since 2010, not too long after in July 2011 I became a part of the team at Numdaji Kwei. Through this journey I have acquired skills & experiences, working with children across all age groups including children with additional needs.
I was born in Hong Kong and migrated to Melbourne in 1992. I am married and have a son. Apart from English, I also speak Cantonese and Mandarin.
I have a passion for early childhood education and I strongly believe it is my privilege that parents trust me and leave their most precious children in my care. I am committed to respecting and protecting the right of every child and work to the best interest of all the children.

Hi my name is Wei. I have a Certificate III in Children’s Services and have been in the Early Childhood sector from 2011.
I’ve lived in Australia since 2001. My background is Chinese and I speak fluent Mandarin.
I’ve worked as a reliever at Numdaji Kwei since April 2012 as a casual reliever. I’m very happy to be at Numdaji Kwei and I do my best to take care of each child. In my spare time I like to make yummy food for my family and well as read books.
Hi there, my name is Jadranka. I hold my bachelor of Early Childhood Studies. I have been in the industry since 1991. I work as a reliever and have been at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since 2001.
I am a mother of two beautiful children, a son and a daughter. I lover travelling and exploring new places, cities, countries and continents. In my spare time, I love to read, watch movies, go for walks and listen to music.

Hello my name is Megan. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since March 2020.
I have been working with children for a few years years and before that I was a stay at home mum to my 3 children. Over these wonderful years I’ve learnt children teach us just as much as we try teach them.
I believe children’s education is the most valuable thing, knowledge is power and I recognise that the earlier it begins the better.
