Hi my name is Renae and I am the Director of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre and have been in this role since May 2008.
I have had the pleasure of working in the early childhood field since 1995, I have worked with all age groups from 3 months to 6 years at every level; Assistant, Group Leader, 2IC and Director. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services.
The best part of my job is watching each child learn through play and reaching their milestones while in our care. I also have the privilege of making sure the centre provides a warm and stimulating environment for all children and families that attend the centre.

Hello my name is Sofia.
I have been a part of the team here at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since May 2015 and from October 2018 became the Second In Charge and Educational Leader.
I have a background of Greek and Russian and I am able to speak fluent Greek. I enjoy trying different foods from various cultures, travelling and watching movies.
I hold my Diploma in Children Services and I have worked in the Children Services industry since 2013. I have worked with all age groups from 3 months to 6 years as an Assistant, Group Leader and now 2IC/Educational Leader.
I am very passionate about working and interacting with the educators and children to develop a program of activities and experiences that support learning in our service.

Nursery Room Lead Educator – Ashleigh
Hello my name is Ashleigh and I hold my Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services.
I joined the team in August 2016 and have been within the field of early childhood since 2010.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends, going out for dinner or go to the movies. I like to try keeping myself healthy by eating well, going to the gym, playing netball and taking my dog Dixie for walks.
Nursery Room Co-Educator – Stacey
My name is Stacey. I have a Certificate III in Children Service’s and have been working at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since 2012 and I love it.
I am very committed to the children in my care- I enjoy building wonderful friendships with the children and families- they are a big part of my life that I value immensely.
I am a sociable person who loves spending time with family and friends. I spend a lot of my time with my three beautiful children at home and enjoy taking them out to the movies and other fun adventurous outings whenever I can.
Toddler Room Lead Educator – Lacey
Hello, my name is Lacey. I hold my Diploma in Children’s Services. I have been a part of the Numdaji Kwei team since February 2020.
I am a mum to 4 children, I have been in the childcare industry for 4 years. I have a passion to help educate and care for children through play.
I enjoy working with children and their families, watching as they discover and grow while finding wonder in the simplest of things and seeing the world as a giant adventure waiting to be discovered.
Toddler Room Co-Educator – Ange
Hello my name is Ange (Antigone). I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have been in the Early Childhood sector since 2009 and have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since March 2020.
I have four grown up children and my eldest recently got married. We have two cats which are much loved members of the family, their names are Jack and Rose just like the characters in the movie “Titanic”. I really enjoy reading a good book and spending time with my friends.

Toddler Room Co-Educator – Megan
Hello my name is Megan. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since March 2020.
I have been working with children for the last 2 years and before that I was a stay at home mum to my 3 children. Over these wonderful years I’ve learnt children teach us just as much as we try teach them.
I believe children’s education is the most valuable thing, knowledge is power and I recognise that the earlier it begins the better.
4 Year Old Kindergarten Teacher – Ching
Hello my name is Ching. I am the Kindergarten teacher at Numdaji Kwei. I have a Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood) and have been in the industry since 2001, before joining the team here at Numdaji Kwei in April 2019.
I am a mother of three children and I enjoy cooking, folk dancing and reading/storytelling.
I believe in educating children in holistic ways, where children play without interference of adults. I give children freedom to create, imagine, imitate and explore. I also believe children learn by doing, therefore providing appropriate experiences and interventions or strategies.
Kinder Room Lead Educator –Jordyn
Hi, my name is Jordyn. I hold my Diploma in Children’s Services. I have been a part of the Numdaji Kwei team since June 2016.
I love all of the age groups. I love watching the children grow and develop into their own. I love developing close relationships with children by interactions and being flexible.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love to go shopping and going to the movies.
Kinder Room Co-Educator & Break Reliever- Cecilia
Hi I’m Cecilia, I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and have been working in this sector since 2010, not too long after in July 2011 I became a part of the team at Numdaji Kwei. Through this journey I have acquired skills & experiences, working with children across all age groups including children with additional needs.
I was born in Hong Kong and migrated to Melbourne in 1992. I am married and have a son. Apart from English, I also speak Cantonese and Mandarin.
I have a passion for early childhood education and I strongly believe it is my privilege that parents trust me and leave their most precious children in my care. I am committed to respecting and protecting the right of every child and work to the best interest of all the children.
Hello, my name is Lea. My position at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre is the Cook. You will also see me in the afternoon covering breaks in the rooms.
I started at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre in June 2018. I hold my Certificate 3 in Children’s Services and have been in the industry since 2014. I enjoy planning and providing a balanced and nutritional menu for the children to ensure that food provided by the centre meets and exceeds the expectations of the families.
I love cooking for my family and friends.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and three children.

I have been working at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since July 2008 as a Casual Reliever and Casual Centre Cook.
I am a mother of three children who enjoys cooking and baking.

Hi my name is Wei. I have a Certificate III in Children’s Services and have been in the Early Childhood sector from 2011.
I’ve lived in Australia since 2001. My background is Chinese and I speak fluent Mandarin.
I’ve worked as a reliever at Numdaji Kwei since April 2012 as a casual reliever. I’m very happy to be at Numdaji Kwei and I do my best to take care of each child. In my spare time I like to make yummy food for my family and well as read books.
Hi there, my name is Jadranka. I hold my bachelor of Early Childhood Studies. I have been in the industry since 1991. I work as a reliever and have been at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since 2001.
I am a mother of two beautiful children, a son and a daughter. I lover travelling and exploring new places, cities, Countries and continents. In my spare time, I love to read, watch movies, go for walks and listen to music.

Hi there my name is Iliada, I have been a part of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre team since March 2019. I have a Diploma in Children’s Services and have been in the Early Childhood sector from 2017. I’ve worked as a reliever at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since March 2019.
