Hi my name is Renae and I am the Director of Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre and have been in this role since May 2008.
I have had the pleasure of working in the early childhood field since 1995, I have worked with all age groups from 3 months to 6 years at every level; Assistant, Group Leader, 2IC and Director. I hold an Advance Diploma in Children’s Services.
The best part of my job is watching each child learn through play and reaching their milestones while in our care. I also have the privilege of making sure the centre provides a warm and stimulating environment for all children and families that attend the centre.

Hi there my name is Marina, I am the Second In Charge and Educational Leader here at Numdaji Kwei. I have been a part of this team since July 2015. I hold my Diploma in Children Services & have had experience in this wonderful industry of early childhood since 2008- where I began by group leading children’s rooms (in all age groups) to then venturing into leadership roles.
I come from an Italian background. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, heading out into nature particularly the beach, trying different cultural meals & traveling.
I adore teaching & caring for young children. I believe that the early years are crucial to a person’s potential which is why all children should have access to quality learning & care. I look forward to meeting you & your child.

Nursery Room Lead Educator – Alex
Hello my name is Alexandra but you can call me Alex.
I started my employment here at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre in August 2016.
I hold my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and have been in the industry since 2012.
In my spare time I enjoy eating food, watching movies and going to the beach. I love the company of my friends and family and enjoy spending time with my beautiful nephews and nieces.
Nursery Room Co-Educator – Stacey
My name is Stacey. I have a Certificate III in Children Service’s and have been working at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since 2012 and I love it.
I am very committed to the children in my care- I enjoy building wonderful friendships with the children and families- they are a big part of my life that I value immensely.
I am a socialable person who loves spending time with family and friends. I spend a lot of my time with my three beautiful children at home and enjoy taking them out to the movies and other fun adventurous outings whenever I can.
Toddler Room Lead Educator- Karen
Hello my name is Karen. I have been working in the child care field since 2006 and hold my Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. During my time in Early Childhood I have worked across all the different age groups and have enjoyed every moment.
In my spare time I like to go camping; exploring what our beautiful country has to offer. I enjoy fishing, knitting and sewing.
I look forward to getting to know and educate all the children intrusted in my care at Numdaji Kwei. As well as look forward to building strong relationships with the families to support their development and care of these young lives.
Toddler Room Co-Educator – Sofia
Hello my name is Sofia. People tend to call me Sophie or Sof.
I have a background of Greek and Russian and I am able to speak fluent Greek. I enjoy playing soccer, trying different foods from various cultures and enjoy watching movies.
I hold my Diploma in Children Services I have worked in the Children Services industry since 2013 and have been a part of the team here at Numdaji Kwei since early on in 2015.
I am very passionate about working and interacting with children and I believe that as an Early Childhood Educator I am responsible for providing infants, toddlers and young children with positive learning experiences.
Toddler Room Co-Educator -Ashleigh
Hello my name is Ashleigh and I am a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre.
I joined the team in August 2016 and have been within the field of early childhood since 2010.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends, going out for dinner or go to the movies. I like to try keeping myself healthy by eating well, going to the gym, playing netball and taking my dog Dixie for walks.
4 Year Old Kindergarten Teacher -Michelle
Hello my name is Michelle. I am the Kindergarten teacher at Numdaji Kwei. I have a Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood) and began teaching in 2015, before joining the team here at Numdaji Kwei in January 2018. My highlight each day is seeing the children learn and develop through exploring their environment. There is no greater joy then seeing them make a breakthrough, such as recognising their name or counting the blocks in the building they have built.
In my spare time you will find me taking my boys to their sports or at the gym. I also love spending time in my garden, which has a compost, worm farm and a vegie and herb patch.

Kinder Room Lead Educator –Tania
Hello I’m Tania, I have been in the early childhood industry since 1995. I have a Diploma in Children Services and have been a staff member at Numdaji Kwei since October 2008.
I enjoy doing art experiences with the children. I also love setting up different art and craft activities so children can use their imagination to explore and create masterpieces.
I have a son named Joel who loves keeping me busy when I’m not working at Numdaji Kwei.
I have a strong passion for animals and in my spare time you will most likely find me at one of the zoos in Melbourne.
Kinder Room Co-Educator & Break Reliever- Cecilia
Hi I’m Cecilia, I hold a Diploma of Children’s Services and have been working in this sector since 2010, not too long after in July 2011 I became a part of the team at Numdaji Kwei. Through this journey I have acquired skills & experiences, working with children across all age groups including children with additional needs.
I was born in Hong Kong and migrated to Melbourne in 1992. I am married and have a son. Apart from English, I also speak Cantonese and Mandarin.
I have a passion for early childhood education and I strongly believe it is my privilege that parents trust me and leave their most precious children in my care. I am committed to respecting and protecting the right of every child and work to the best interest of all the children.
CENTRE COOK: Priscilla
Hello my name is Priscilla. I have worked within the early childhood industry since 2016. I have been at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since March 2017. I have a Certificate III in Children Services and I am currently working towards my Diploma in Early Childhood.
I am the centre cook and floater who covers educator’s breaks each day.
I come from an Italian background, in my spare time I like to be with my family, friends and partner. I love to cook, especially healthy nutritious meals. I have a passion for educating children of all ages and love building relationships with not only the children but also the families of Numdaji Kwei.

Hi my name is Renuka.
I have been working at Numdaji Kwei Children’s Centre since July 2008 as a Casual Reliever and Casual Centre Cook.
I am a mother of three children who enjoys cooking and baking.
I enjoy working with children, playing with them and talking to them about their day.
Hi my name is Wei. I have a Certificate III in Children’s Services and have been in the Early Childhood sector from 2011.
I’ve lived in Australia since 2001. My background is Chinese and I speak fluent Mandarin.
I’ve worked as a reliever at Numdaji Kwei since April 2012 as a casual reliever. I’m very happy to be at Numdaji Kwei and I do my best to take care of each child. In my spare time I like to make yummy food for my family and well as read books.
Hi my name is Luisa and I have been a casual reliever at Numdaji Kwei since May 2016 and have been within the industry from 2008.
After being a chef for 23 years I had career change in 2005 when my daughter started 3 year old kinder. I spent many days being a parent helper there and enjoyed being part of the community; I loved working with children so I completed my Certificate III in Children Services and then began working as a co-educator in Kindergartens teaching 4 year olds kinder.
I believe a child’s voice is the most important key that teaches us to learn and listen.
I am also currently working towards my Diploma in Early Childhood.
